I am a highly motivated, self-driven Teacher and Lawyer with a strong foundation of multifaceted skills. I am passionate about social justice and this is reflected in both my professional and personal life.

Having worked in the legal profession for almost 20 years, firstly as a legal secretary and paralegal and then as a Lawyer, I have a unique insight into the context in which the Legal Studies and Civics curriculum sits. I am particularly interested in:

  • Constitutional law
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history and rights
  • International human rights
  • Australian history
  • Australian politics
  • Tenancy law
  • Refugee laws and policy
  • Wills and probate
  • Commercial litigation
  • Family violence laws and policy

As a Teacher I continue to learn, and am currently taking some steps into the world of computer programming with the development of this website. I am also in my final semester of a Masters of Teaching (Secondary) at Monash University, due to be completed in October 2017.
